window opening cut to large

Had a very wet floor in my 3150 entertainment slide, it was the floor inside the slide, this is new to me, most often I might get a little water aroung the slide edges where it meets the coach. Problem found, the window on the slide wall edge had about a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch gap on the lower outside corner, just took out window to "adjust" fit, no room for adjjustment. anyone else ever have a window hole cut to large and how did you fix it?? thanks

Take it back to the dealer. Definite Mfg. defect.

I would also call Keystone Customer service before I took it back to the dealer.

All those openings are supposed to be cut with a computer that never makes a mistake. It is on the Montana video.

Thats what I said in an earlier post. All the technology out there to make accurate cuts in a production setting and we are still hearing about sloppy assembly methods. Rich that video must have been a sales video, they never bought the computer. Or maybe the guy is entering metric measurements into the computer that needs inches

Marketing sells the product even if it does not work all the time. Keystone manufacturers nothing they assemble a Rv from vendor provided materials. Keystone provides the workmanship and quality control in the assembly of the RV.. That area is were most of the problems are.

Everything the vendors provided in this 13 3402 Big sky are so far perfect. Workmanship issues..Door latches not properly installed, Toilet seat not properly installed. Molding not properly installed.. Here is good one.They put filler in all the places were the staples or nails went..that is the good news.. Bad news is the filler is not even close to the color of the woodwork and they missed some completly.... very tacky. Oh this is the top of the line highest $$
unit Montana makes?????

This is not a flame or complaint..Just the facts. We expected better workmanship..In the "top of the line unit.

Let's remember they cut the hole for my big slide too small. This is just high school physics. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Cut something too small, you have to cut something too large.

Here is what they will have to do: Get the hole measurements and have a new window made for the opening. I had one made for my super-slide that was 7" longer than the stock window that came with the Montana. They can make a window with any rough hole measurement you provide them...the window companies that Montana uses.
Don't settle for any less.

The "computer" hole cutting is one of their key marketing issues..So why the hole to small or to large???

I think the computer is only used on the "expensive" models!!! :-) the rest of us get the 3 stooges with hammer and monkey wrench...

I have to agree with you. Mine has been back many times for repairs and adjustments including replacement of the lower metal on the whole curb side due to it not even being attached under the molding. The flex of the trailer during travel popped it out of the molding. Scary thing is if QC during assembly allows external issues like this to occur what about structural non visible areas? I also found customer service to be awsome! I think I would buy another Keystone rig simply because of the excellent customer service.
