Especially if it happened while towing.

It is only impacts gas engines - should not impact very many tow rigs.

I’m glad Ford isn’t plagued with recalls. I had my 2018 F150 for 2 weeks before it was recalled. Haha.

This isn’t that big of a deal!! In the highly unlikely event it does happen a tap of the brake pedal disengages the cruise control

Not really, that is the issue. You have put it in neutral, and come to a complete stop for cruise control to disengage. Then get a change of shorts.

Either way I wouldn’t want to take any chances especially these computer controlled vehicles of today
They have a mind of their own.

The article in the link at the top stated that you have to do that.

That is why I said hitting that bug would be scary

I think marketing will say they have the option of either adaptive or thrill ride cruise control

I never use cruise control. I also have a diesel. Gas is for washing parts.

Part of the issue was reported that it wouldn’t dis-engage with the brake tap or turning it off AND it is the Jeep line and others that people tow behind motor homes or the wife drives behind the monte when full timing.
