Getting ready for Thanksgiving trip

We usually spend Thanksgiving in the panhandle of Florida, but due to the summertime uncertainty of the oil well leak, we did not get our reservations in. We have decided to spend the week at Lakewood Campground in Myrtle Beach. We are looking forward to seeing George and Rosetta for Thanksgiving dinner and if anyone else is in the area, we would welcome a visit anytime that week (DW cooks enough for an Army so Thanksgiving Day is not an intrusion). In preparation for the last trip of the year, I had posted previously about getting DW a portable dishwasher for the new rig and I will picking it up at Lowes this evening. I also just placed an order for the nesting Ottoman set that was described in another thread as well (Found an on-line promo code and free shipping as well - love the internet!!). Rig goes to the dealer tomorrow for the installation of the Voyager hard-wired rear-view/backup camera system. The rig will be picked up in two weeks on the day that the camera installation hardware is scheduled for the truck. That will leave us a week to get prepared (still have to install the Autoformer). The last thing scheduled for the short term is the installation of the soap dispenser to match the new replacement kitchen faucet that was installed. I think we can get all of this done and have it in in place for the trip in three weeks. We are obviously looking forward to what will unfortunately be the last trip of the year!!

Where has this camping season gone? It seems as though it was only a few days ago when we got together for the first trip of the season and now we’re talking about the last trip already.
We do wish you guys a happy trip, enjoy the new camper and don’t be glutton.
