Is this a problem?
Seeing the problems some had with broken frames, I made a point to look at mine while the trailer was hitched vs. unhitched. While hitched I found a gap in the silicone sealant of about 1/16th of an inch and not very long. Unhitched that gap goes away. DS shows this, ODS shows no change.
I can understand there being some flex. How does this compare to what you know?

Probably not. The sealant will degrade over time and loose it's flexibility. The problem is that the only way to know for sure is to take the front apart and look. Our 2010 had a much larger gap than that and everyone including the dealer and Keystone thought we had a problem but when we looked there wasn't an issue at all.

IMHO
I’m with dqdick, probably not. IF we all knew how much these things actually flex, it would scare the you know what out of us.

keep an eye on it....but something is going on there, it should not break the seal as you are seeing it but it isn't as bad as the 3 flexing i've had on all 3 trailers i've owned.

Bad flexing is when you have a gap between the edge of the molding and the fiberglass siding. You have nothing to worry about with that slight movement.

Thx all for the input. Having seen similar units with this condition is a bit unnerving. The repair is usually requires major surgery. I'll redo the silicone to keep the water out then keep an eye on it.
