Gotta love the fuel prices!

Someone at a truck stop in Wyoming told me a few months ago while we were on our way back to Virginia that diesel prices were supposed to be below $2 by the end of the year. Just passed a local BP and it's already down to $1.89! Almost wish I had a tank truck!

Msgt. Good to know your diesel prices are so low. There are only a few stations below $2.00 here in Colorado. Happy travels.

Or, you could be unfortunate enough to live in California.

I paid $2.35 at a Union 76 station here in SoCal last week. Pretty good deal for these parts. High turn over, good fuel from a very nice station owner that I've had the pleasure to chat with a few times.

CA is cheap compared to WA. Here in Seattle I am seeing $2.89 and $2.99 with an occasional Chevron on 15th that wants $3.89!!!! CA was $2.21 last week and OR was $2.16.

The price of oil dropped today to the lowest value since 2008. I think it was $36 something and they predict it will go down to $20. Good for some and it will definitely suck for others.

Idaho prices are still at $2.59, it is so nice to live in a state where they love to gouge!! Enjoy the cheap prices I am sure it won't last for long

I am sure prices will go back up especially now that they can sell to the highest bidder worldwide. Nice bill that was signed into law. I guess we need to be happy for the moment and drive to and explore more than normal while it is inexpensive.

I agree that it's nice at the pump, but our son who works offshore is looking for a new job. He is quite sure that this current hitch will be his last. At the low cost of oil, the drilling companies are stacking rigs right and left. He said there are currently half the number in the Gulf as there were last year. I have a large number of friends who are dependent on offshore jobs. It's a sad situation for many of them.
