What Do You Store Under the Bed??

I would like to hear what others store under the bed. Our other 5ers did not have a bedroom slide so there was a lot of room under the bed. Everytime I think of something to put under there it is too tall. I would love to find some plastic containers that would fit under there.
Happy trails........................

The only thing that we can store under there is a small foldup table, and a blanket or two. You're right, there is no height to the space at all. We just kinda forget we got it.

It is pretty useless space. If Keystone raised the bed three inches, it would be better all around. Glen and I talked about doing that ourselves to add storage and have the bed higher. Right now the things in there are all flat, clothes dryer stand, sweatshirts, etc.

We have three folding chairs (Zip Dee) and a blanket under and on top just to keep them from moving and scratching each other.

I think we keep a folding table and some quilting supplies under there, (that is Donna's territory - I don't interfere with it).

JLBOZ60 (John and Marge) did some mods to their's to increase the storage capacity. As I recall, they removed the bottom, and boxed in the hydraulic cylinder that is under there, opening up quite a bit more storage space.

We keep a folding pic-nic table from Camping World and a folding step stool. Not much else will fit.

Only thing we have there is a dog gate.
Don moved the lock box that came under the bed from factory. The place it was located hit the end of the bed and the bed was uneven.
Anyone else had that same problem?

We modified our under bed storage by removing the plywood base, sawing it at 22" side to side, installed a piano hinge, cut a hand hold and added a hook and eye and reinstalled it. In the underneath we put two plastic file boxes for paperwork in the area of the hydraulic frame, our big flag and a few other things along the sides. We still store blankets and sheets on top of the plywood. It has worked out really well.

We keep a couple of spare blankets, spare pillows and pillowcases under our bed otherwise there really isn't that much room for anything else. Diana

We are going to get a real mattress and it will be higher than the thing that is there and if we modified the base to be any higher I would get a nose bleed when getting in bed.We used the space under the bed in our TT for the usual, Blankets, sheets, etc.Compaired to our TT we will have twice the room for storage anyhow and we are not putting the stuff we never use back in the Montana..I have already cleared 176 lbs of useless stuff out of boxes of stuff we removed from the TT and am not half way through the boxes yet. The amount of useless stuff we had in that camper was amazing. I think I reported about the Smuge pot, the one that looks like a cannon ball and weighs about the same..Why would we have a Smuge pot aboard??? The under the bed storage will be just fine as is....

We have something that causes that corner to be uneven and it's probably the lockbox. It's not usually enough to cause a problem.

The good life jackets for water skiing we don't like to leave on the boat during the summer and blankets the rest of the year.

Quilt, extra pillows and at least 1 or 2 cases of wine. We find this storage space very useful :-)

Among other things, we store seasonal clothing in vacuum bags and swap them out when needed. I found some cheap linoleum to cover the bottom and also under the mattress to keep the plywood from snagging.
