After 20 months no issue with the door, and we even had lots of grandkids in and out over the summer.

Pivot Door

2018 HC. Pivot door is the worst thing about this floor plan Plenty of room for the door to swing into the bathroom. Modification upcoming.

Our pivot door works fine. Hoping it holds up, but most things on an RV are light duty.

Mine failed like yours did. My temporary fix was to get a dolt with a small head and installed it so that the head of the bolt was captured by the bracket on top of the door and a self locking nut on top of the stripped out slider in the top frame. Hard to explain but simple concept. The problem with the design is that the original bolt has to turn in the threads of the top slider, wearing them out. I got it fixed under warranty and it has been fine since then...

Same issue here. the roller actually falls out onto the floor. Will address this with the next service.

I've tried to order the parts: http://store.keystonervcenter.com/keystone/index.php

but they do not have this one. I keep watching.

Is this a door that you could go back to hinges and do away with that design?

No, just a great place for Keystone parts. Probably could find a door on their site that would work though.

We have th pivot door on our 2018 and works great!! We love it to access the bathroom without stepping out of the way. We have double sinks in the bathroom and the pivot door is never in the way.

I saw a pivot door, looks like a problem waiting to happen. I do not have one and do not want one. Way too "flimsy" in it's operation. I see it flopping around while traveling down the highway.

We typically close our door prior to traveling, no problems with ours so far.

We have the pivot door on our 2016 and love it. Haven't had any issues. Like Team Bradfield, we just make sure it is closed when traveling.

Ours works great. Simple system. Should be no problem to keep working.

YMMV

My wife and I have a 3791 RD Montana with a pivot door. Only problem we had was right after purchase, the threads wore out on the shaft due to not being installed tight and proper. I in=stalled a new one and it works great. My wife loves the door for our bathroom as it saves room in the halway.

We have a new 2017 3791RD with a pivot door and roller unit. Ours did the same thing as you are talking about. Originally I took it out and reversed it (threads) as ours were stripped as well. I ordered a new one and the shipping cost more then the part. It would take about three weeks to get it from a dealer as the warranty section of Keystone is to be desired! When you install the new roller, make sure you adjust the hight right so it will lock correctly. Once you have the hight, make sure you have it tight and it won't come loose. Ours has been fine now for around four months.
