Niece Passed Away
My niece passed away last night after being admitted to the hospital following a spell of vomiting. Preliminary results of autopsy was bowel obstruction. She'll be missed, only 44 years old. Leaves behind her husband, two daughters and a son. The son is the youngest, 15 years old. One daughter is a sophomore in college, the other is a senior in HS.
They are born-again believers and will survive but prayers would be appreciated.
I think I'm the one who will have the hardest time because it was 44 years ago (one day shy) that I lost my first wife in her sleep at the same time of night (give or take 5 minutes). Left me with four boys 5-12 years of age. We made it and at the time I wasn't born again.

Orv,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. There is no way to know when something may happen. What a terrible coincidence regarding the timing. We wish the very best for her family. Thank you for sharing.

Such a tragic and untimely loss. Being a believer doesn't keep it from being traumatic, but faith can being comfort. we will pray to that end.

What a comfort to know you will see her again some day where there will be no more tears nor sickness. Orv, our prayer is that you will feel God's loving arms around you during this time.
Revelation 21:4 is a verse that has given me much comfort after losing our teenage son.

We are so sorry to hear about your niece and will remember her and her family in our prayers. You'll be in our prayers, too, for what is surely a painful memory and terrible coincidental timing.

Orv,
Sorry for the sudden loss that has affected your family. Knowing that you are of deep faith gives the realization that she is in a better place, but it does not appease the pain and the feelings of unfairness in such a situation. I prayed that the Lord will touch everyone and as only he can, turn it all around for the good. Blessings to you and yours and all whom they will come in contact with during this time!!

So sorry to hear of your tragedy. It is so hard when we lose loved ones so young. I lost my sister when she was only 40 and she, too, had young boys still in school. We will pray for your family and for strength to survive.

Thank everyone so much for the thoughts and prayers during this time. My nephew wants me to thank you for all the prayers. He says he'll get through this because he knows where his wife Chris is and that she is no longer in pain.
Again, thank you. This forum's personnel are so thoughtful and caring.
