Vegas or bust!UPDATE
Well we left Minneapolis yesterday and made it to Osceola Iowa where we stayed at the Lakeside Casino RV park. Not bad but a bit tight, but for 20 bucks a night for FHU it will do just fine. Today we only have to do 139 miles to KC where we will stay at Fleming Park campground in Blue Springs, Mo. for 3 or 4 days. Weather permitting from there we go visit Rondo and Mary in Omaha for several days. It seems that the frost is chasing us south. It was freezing when we left Land O Lakes, it went from 80 in Minneapolis the last day we were there to 45 yesterday. It is 45 here in Iowa and should be in the 60 in KC. The weather for the next week is mostly similar in KC an Omaha. So it looks like we may just take I80 west instead of taking 90 through the Black hills, we can do that in the spring I guess. We will definitely be working at the Clark County Shooting
Complex starting Dec 1 but hope to get in sooner. So we will most likely head down to Tonopah, AZ and spend some time with the Oz and his boss..
Arrived in KC yesterday and am staying at Blue Springs campground. I just got done shrink wrapping 29 Kansas City strip steaks. My favorite grocery story who usually has a meat sale this time of year doesn't have one going on yet. The butcher said maybe in 2 weeks or so. The regular price on KC strips at the moment is 5.99 per lb. When he brought out the first batch of steaks he said he dropped them down to 3.99 for me, I asked if I could have another batch cut at that price and he said sure. So now I have 29 succulent KC strips for the winter and may go back and get a whole pork loin at 1.49 per lb. I bought one for our friends here in KC and had it cut into 1 inch chops for them then used my Seal-a-meal to wrap them 2 per pack. I love that machine.

Safe trips Dave. We just landed in Tunica MS. It was hot as heck and just as we got setup here at Sams Town the front come thru and temps dropped 20* right then and there. Chilly to say the least for this far south. It will change in a couple days though. Again, have fun!!

Stay safe out there, remember, Dirty side down. Try and avoid them rock on the windshields.
We are dragging our feet now, in a $10.00 a day beautiful Corps of Engineers park in New Mexico. See you in Tonopah!

If you decided to come further south, we're at our home base in Wilsey Kansas on Hwy 56 about 30 miles south of I-70. We'll be here till Friday and then we're on to Albuquerque. We have hookups for two RV's so you're more than welcome and our rates are low
