Two Montana's here besides us, but I haven't meet either of you yet. Are you members of the forum and are you home?

We stay there a couple times a year (going to and from "Q"). Nice park, great people. A lot to see in the area. Mexico close and safe.

X2 on nice people and safe. Trains go by all night long, but really didn't bother us since they don't blow any horns near here. Some great mom and pop style places to eat. Between Silver City and Columbus (Poncho Villa Museum), Mexico being just past Columbus and Rock Hound State Park being near it is a great place to stop for a couple of days. Can be windy and have sand storms, but so can a lot of places out here.

Dick,
Those are not sand storms, it's called ENCHANTMENT. Thus the reason NM is call "The Land of Enchantment".
