Congratulations on your new unit. They have made some nice changes. I like the remote start and backup sensors also. The engine is much quieter too.

Hope you have great luck with the new 3500. I assume its the D/A. We will probably be looking at the new 3500 this time next year. We like our 2004, but I like to keep them under 100k miles. I know they will do much better than that, but I feel a lot better with fewer miles. We should be putting fewer miles on now that the kids are in college and have other vehicles to drive. Best of luck.

Tim,
Congratulations on the new truck.
I am sure that being parked next to my 2007 Classic Chevy 1 ton at the MOC rally is what caused you to buy a new truck.

Congrats on a great TV, chose the classic myself after reading what is probably false concerns on the emissions controls, but definitely can't complain about anything so far. On an even better note, it is a joy to see a Ford driving a Chevy!!!! (LOL!!)

We love ours, too. Much more stable in high winds than our '06 SRW. Of course, the duals take a little bit of getting used to; like car washes, etc.

well Grant you did have a little to do with the new truck lol had been thinking about it but wanted to see the new body style and learn a bit more about the new allision 6 speed before I made up my mind so after the rally I sat down with my dealer and spec'd the new one out and waited and waited and waited till the finaly came out with it then my dealer gave me the call it was here come see what we built lol well long story short it came right home with only 3 miles on it I have not figured out what is different with the rear springs that make it ride so much better than the old one but what a improvement and the power the new Duramax has is a big change too the 6 speed is a little different from the 5 speed it can be used like a manual locking it in any gear and shifting it when you want too instead of the auto much nicer when going down a hill not that the old 5 speed was a bad trans I liked it very well too . Michael just a bit of advice about the duels look out going to the bank drive through lol don't ask but I do have a little expert knowlage on that one lol . thanks Sue for the kind thoughts and for the campground in yellowstone we are going to stay at grizzly per you recomendation thanks again
