Shelves on outside of cabinets

We have a 3400 with Shelves on outside of cabinets DW wants to remove them and put up somthing else. Has anyone removed them, I cant find any screws or anything on the inside,?

My neighbor has a 06 3400 that she removed the top shelf. She thought it was screwed in but had to remove the molding on the sides in order to get to them. Maybe some one with more knowledge will chime in soon. Sorry, not much help here.

ours were screwed in from inside the cab..
Hard to see the screw heads as they are right on the shelves

OK, I'll bite. Where are these shelves on the outside of cabinets, that you are talking about??

On the cabinet over the counter to the right of the sink seperate the kitchen fron the LR 3 shelves up the outside of the cabinet.
