Campbud,
We were there June 2nd and stayed in a private campground right at exit 27. Nice park and reasonable.
We didn't go to the land between the lakes because it was raining and they were callong for more so we left the area.
We talked to the tourist info and they said there were several Corp of Eng
parks out there and they had full HU's for around $20 bucks.

If you come in on I 24 vget off at exit 31 St Route 453 go so. a couple miles to Grand Rivers KY. Just beyond you will see a sign for Canal Campground. It is a Corps of Engineer Pk. If you want on the water ask for site 78 or 79 in the hill loop. You can call 1 877-444-6777 & make reservations. 453 is the Trace & is 60 miles long. Goes into Tenn. & has several nice camp grounds. There is a lot to do,you are close to Paducah. They have the Quilt Museum. Plus other things.

COE Canal Campground has some nice sites, a few with full hook ups. I have heard of another nice one at the S. end of Land between the Lakes in TN, but can't remember the name.
