Has anyone tried "netontherun" 3g portable internet service? I read about or this on one of the camping blogs. No contract--$90 one time hardware purchase and pay only for usage---no contracts or obligations.I am hoping for some comments--good or bad or some other way for secure internet access on the road.

Another similiar service offers 500MB/month FREE, just put a deposit on the 4G (and 4G only) device. http://www.freedompop.com I have the Freedom Pop Photon and it works very well as a WiFi hot spot. The problem with Freedom Pop is the 4G network, it is not available in many locations. So it will probably be useless in most remote camping areas.
