No need to hope. Your slide show works fine!
Not only did you take great advantage of all that storage back there, you, are hiding wires and the articulating arm allows you to swing out the flat screen for the best viewing angles.
If you don't mind I was just about ready to do something at the stickhouse similar to that (a big cubby over the fireplace intended for a screen) and I will definitely borrow this idea. I have other audio and video components to store behind the screen and this provides the best option versus trying to create some drawer system. I already have the articulating arm and I was trying to figure out how to use it. That vertical brace definitely provides the support I'll need.
