I95 Through Baltimore?

Has anyone gone through Baltimore on I95? We're towing a 2018 Montana 3950BR (40 feet). Heading south from Pennsylvania and trying to skirt west of Baltimore and Washington DC. Any recommendations on alternate routes? Thanks in advance!

Hate I-95, did it twice going south from central Jersey after visiting our daughter there. We go 79 to 77 from home but had to go visit our new grandson this spring when we went north so back to Jersey we went. This time we visited Raleigh on the way and took 85 toward Richmond and then did about 10 or 12 miles on 95 and got on 64 over to 81 and then ran east on 78 to Summit NJ. A little longer but didn't have that parking lot from Fredricksburg up to 695 when I grab it to go around the west side of Baltimore. Its more miles and about the same time, but no stop and go for 4 hours. I would definitely recommend it if you're Harrisburg/Allentown way

We took I95 thru Baltimore October 2022, rough road in places, heavy traffic and poor signage on where to exit. We did it at about noon on a work day. Almost as bad as I70 in Indiana.

You may want to consider taking 15 south down to Frederick MD. You can then take one of several routes to get over to 95. But you will be south of Baltimore and DC

When we go up or down i95 we take the Eastern shore route US13 from Virginia Beach to Wilmington. Very nice country. Dual lane most of the way. Very relaxing.
