Basement doors getting big brown stains. Why?

I have a 2011 3455SA Montana 5th wheeler, over the last year i have been watching the basement doors becoming more and more stained looking. Has anyone else run into this problem. it has even moved to the propane doors.
it looks like its between the coating and the wood. its diffidently not on the out side . it wont buff out.

Have one of my passthrough doors that started to do that in two locations on the door. It is a chemical reaction in the fiberglass panel, I believe. You can do nothing but try to get replacement doors and good luck with that. Just another one of those keystone issues or the manufacturer of the panels being used.

Hi
I found my basement doors to be repairable.

http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...highlight=door

I haven’t replaced the bad panel yet. I also don’t recommend replacing with plywood as if I had the same event with the plywood door I would have much more damage.

mrtgraz with out having any pic's to look at the staining on the doors is caused by water wicking up the plywood behind the Gil-coat. check the water drains in the bottom of your doors they tend to get plunged up. It can happen on all brands not just Keystone! You mite be able to get new doors from Terkwood.com

Your browning of the doors will only get worse. I had the same issue on my curbside cargo door and propane door. Keystone said it was water damage due to plugged drain holes in the doors. My drain holes were not plugged, but Keystone didn't want to hear it. A dealer's tech measured the doors and ordered them from Keystone. I forked over $$$ for them and was planning on just replacing the doors themselves. They came mounted in frames and all. The doors were just enough different in size that I couldn't just swap doors, so I had to swap out frames and all. Looking back, I wish I'd thought about doing what Phil P did.
