DW loves to camp nestled in the trees. But those trees do jump out and get in the way if your are not looking.

One time, she showed me a site she liked and I told her "You know how fat we are........with those opposing slides?" I was almost too slow the the opposing slides part.

When traveling in Canada, I set my GPS to show KPH vs MPH to help determine how fast I am actually going. My speedometer also has metric readings but they are small and hard to see.

I would also add that a lot of our Provincial campgrounds are (a) reserved away ahead, (b) limited in rig length, so be sure to check first, and (c) often operated by private companies with staff paid the minimum wage, so don't expect seasoned RV owners to be checking you in or answering the phones. However, they are usually positioned in scenic areas, offer a real sense of camping in the woods, and offer a basic/rustic experience.
Please leave your guns at home, as the bears are rare and other wildlife only parties until 11:00 pm !

Whistler campground is said to be closed the entire 2019 season.
They are warning about this on RVing to Alaska 2019
That’s some 700+ sites not available?
