We stumbled upon a gem here. Its The Kentucky Horse Park, in Lexington, Kentucky It is a state park that was wide open with availability. Equestrian setting, pool, excellent wifi and some spots you can hit the satellite. With discounts, it was $30 for two nights Sunday and Monday. Quiet and relaxing. We asked for some sites to scout before registering, which was nice to do. While driving around we asked about some other sites that looked vacant and seemed better, we got what we asked for. Otherwise you may get slotted where you are not comfortable. Oh yeah, it is the second entrance for camping. The GPS will take you to the first entrance that is for horses.

We also enjoy this park as a stop over when passing through.

Excellent campground. We stay there several times a year when visiting Asbury University events. Peaceful!

We have friends in our Florida park who always stop there on their way to Florida for the winter.
