national forest restrictions in arizona

i am sure everyone knows how nice it is to boondock here in arizona. well that is going to change real soon it sounds like. i had hoped to do alot of boondocking when i retire but soon camping will only be allowed only in DESIGNATIED areas. well sorry but that is why i camp to be away from most people, not have to camp right by them. seems my future fulltimeing dream may not be what it could be. russd

If you have some details it might help all of us understand what exactly is going on. AZ is in the middle of a long drought and it only makes sense to restrict SOME areas of a forest area. From what I've seen here in AZ there will probably still be a lot of places to "get away" from the crowds.

russd enlighten us!! If you are talking about the almost yearly fire restrictions.....well, welcome to AZ. Happens almost every summer with the heat and drought conditions. If you have heard someting else, please share!!
