Hi all,I've been out of pocket for awhile,so I'm sure this has been asked several times.I'm looking for a good cleaner and protectant for my Montana.I'm currently using Zipwax wash, then I hand wipe it down with meguiars spray mist detailer.I'ts time consuming but does a good job please advise.Until the next time, take care & stay safe, rick.

I use Turtle Wax spray on. Hook on to water hose, spray on wax, rub in with brush, then rinse. So far, has done a good job. A bottle cost $3 at Dollar store, and will do rig 5-6 times.

Rickochet, about how long does it take to use the Meguiars detailing mist on the entire Montana? And which model do you have? I've been using the zipwax, like you, but need to do some more serious waxing. Thanks.

I did our unit the hard way. Used Simonize Paste Car Wax, got up on a stepladder and did the entire rig. Took a few days.

steve&vicki,I have the 2955RL.With a early start,it takes the better part of the morning using the meguiars "Quik Detail" spray. So I'd say between 5 to 6 hours.Glad to see your still enjoying the road.take care,Rick

Last year in Texas I had my unit professional washed and waxed in January. They used a wax referred to as butter wax and it's held up very well....and has prevented a lot of the black streaks that normally appear after the trailer has been in the elements for awhile. This wax has held up better than any wax I've used in the past. I'm going to wash the rig this week as soon as the rain stops so I'll see how it looks after its washed. I think it was starbrite they said that makes it?
I'll have to do some research and see if I can find it somewhere.

Steve, who and where in Texas and how much do they get for that if you don't mind me asking? You can email me if you'd prefer. We'll be on the road without the house for a few days but will have internet at least some of those days.
