Flying Flags RV Resort, Buellton, CA
We are at the Flying Flags RV resort for a week and it is very nice. We are about 45mi. north of Santa Barbara and just a few miles south of Solvang. Good golfing in the area and good shopping for the wives. We would highly recommend this park.

Flying Flags is one of our favorite parks, we were there just a few weeks ago with a club we belong to (S.O.B). Be sure to drive up to Los Olivos and to Solvang and Santa Ynez, all are within a 10-15 minute drive. If you go to Los Olivos by way of Alamo Pintado Rd. you'll pass lots of ranches, stop to enjoy the miniature horses. Los Olivos has a Fess Parker Inn and a wine tasting facility, lots of quaint shops. Santa Ynez also has some great shops, especially if you're into Western or Southwest decor. Nice little coffee bar there too. Enjoy!

I second Bill's info. Great area to visit. Tons of things to do. They've got a great little museum that gives you all sorts of insight into the early history of the area. I think it is in Los Olivos also. And we like Flying Flags park also. Lot's of grass and shade.

We found the bakeries in Solvang to be quite dangerous. We can't walk by without going in and getting a goodie.

One of our favorite parks... aebleskivers, miniature horses, pea- soup, Indian Casino, great steakhouse (AJ Spurs), great pool at FFRVP, only a few miles from Santa Barbara and Santa Maria/SLO just up the road... enough to do for a month at least...
