Tether for Blackberry

Got to put a plug in for the Tether software for Blackberry. We're at the Doubletree in Houston, and internet is 10 bucks a day. I purchased the Tether our first night here, and use it with the laptop connected to the Blackberry. Works great! DSL speeds. http://tetherberry.com/

I don't know which Black Berry you have? I have the Storm 2 and the tether cable and software came with it. I was using the Verizon 727 USB card so had to remove it's software and install the BB software. Worked fine for the get go. Runs same speed as the 727 card did and software display looks the same. Currently I am running at 1.1 Mb but the speed depends on my tower connection, it does run faster.

Enjoy

Curve 8330 here. Sprint says it cannot be used as a modem. I suspect they just don't want it used as a modem. It came with the USB cable, but no software for the modem, just the basic BB software.
