11.
Lonesome Dove RV Ranch, Del Rio, TX. $225 mo.
($200 for 6 mo.) Here for 2 mo. Elec. .13kwh, phone hook ups at sites. A true Oasis in the Desert! About 50 large, wide, long, level pull thru sites w/patios & picnic tables, privacy fences, shade trees, 72 cable stations, WIFI, game room and mess hall where coffee pot is always on & owner provides the meat for Friday Pot Lucks. Mail and local newspaper delivered to mail box @ site. We liked it very much and will spend all of next winter there. Infact we will be storing under roof & security the Monty in Del Rio for $40 mo and they will deliver & set it up on the site for us.
In all the parks we found most people to be friendly and helpful to us newbies. Well behaved dogs were welcomed too.
John doesn't like backing up so pull thrus were a prioity.
We found we didn't like "park hopping" and would rather stay in one place for at least a month.
Only counted 17 Montanas and no one returned our light signal. Think that must be an eastern thing.
Hope the above wasn't too long and helpful.
