Just registered
Hello, everyone! The wife and I and our 3 Siamese furkids have been living full time on our 2005 3400RL since the fall of 2004 here in beautiful Southern Maryland. We were going to take off back then, but the jobs got too good to leave, so....Anyway, with some "Lifestyle enhancements" as we like to call them the Montana has been a comfortable rig to live on. We look forward to being on the MOC forum.
Jeff and Irene

Welcome to the forum. We are very new to RVing as we pick up our new 3455SA on the 16th. Our son lives in White Plains Maryland and we hope to be ther this Thanksgiving. Any suggestions on RV parks/campgrounds for November?

First,
Welcome to Cess1camping. I am guess you are down around Solomons Island/Pax River NAS.

Herewegotogether,
We stayed at Woodlawn Camp Grounds 1209 Walnut St, Delmar, MD, 21875 in 07. It was a small park but close to White Plains, MD (8 miles)
Another one larger but a little farther away is Fort Whaley Camp Ground -- 11224 Dale Rd, Whaleyville, MD, 21872 (13 miles)

Yes, we've been at this same campground in St. Marys the entire 6 years and the rig has only moved twice, to get a better site! Where we are now is about perfect, as the the sun comes in the back window just right for the cats to lay across the top of the couch! There are priorities! The coach has become basically a cottage on wheels for us. With the addition of household furniture, a second inline water heater for the shower,TV and sound upgrades, a second A/C unit in the bedroom, more insulation in the floor, the incoming water rerouted to prevent freezing, stacked washer and 220V dryer, surge protector and transformer, and a bunch of other little things it suits us fine as we're both "project oriented".

Welcome Cess1camping! It sounds like you have your rig fine tuned. It only goes to prove that you don't have to put a lot of miles on a Montana to enjoy it.
