Montana on side of the road.

On the road, heading to NC, and saw a Montana on the opposite of the Intertate. Must have had one heck of a blowout, as back tire, driver side was gone, and much of the driver side metal was badly damaged.

Sounds like an original equipment tire issue.

If it was in fact a Goodyear Marathon tire that is unfortunate. They are an inferior tire and one of mine blew at 15,000 miles which is unacceptable. For those of you who have had "good luck" with these tires you are EXTREMELY "lucky" and are the exception. It took too long for Keystone to make the change.

Took to long for Keystone to make a change???? you mean Goodyear ST E rated to E rated ST Trailer Kings?????OH YEAH MUCH BETTER>>>>LOL At least Goodyear was good at backing up their product Trailer King?? Don't count on it I would have preferred they stayed at least with Goodyear

Don't take the unit off the sellers lot with ST's on it. Insist they put an acceptable tire on before you purchase.

We paid for the G-614 option on our new 3610RL due in a couple of weeks....We run the 614's now and have been even when we had SOB before our first 'Tana.

Even with the G-614's you have to keep on top of the correct pressure and which for damage to the sidewalls....5er's are brutal on the sidewalls of these tires regardless of who they are due to the fixed axles when making tight turns. The 14 ply G-614's have steel belted sidewalls which is what saves them from the twisting of the tires.

Don't leave home without them!

Met a fellow a few weeks ago that had a 2014 Fuzion TH, and he was surprised that it came with the Sailun's. He said he was a little upset, that he ordered it with what he thought were going to be the G614's, but he ended up happy after he did some research on them. I guess when he ordered them, it just indicated that it would come with G rated tires. In person, they appeared to be a very stout tire, and he said the trailer handles very well with them.

NEVER trust a tire that you can lift over your head! Never thought about what it might do to my haircut if it happen to blow when I did that...sensitive buggers they are. John

I must be lucky as I have Ranier tires known as the Chinese bombs and have zero trouble with them. Three trips to Texas from Ontario and a separate trip to Montana,South and North Dakota
