Aerial Photo Quartzsite 2008
Taken 1/25/08. Some had left and some hadn't arrived yet.
We've had a great time and need to say a BIG THANK YOU to Michael and Renee for the loan of the generator.
Happy trails....................

Sue,
Thank you for posting the picture. Not a true circle but really nice nonetheless. Bob and Sharon.... it is just not the same without "Big Red"!
Hope you enjoyed one of your first boondocking experiences.
It was great having you folks join the "circle".

Thanks for posting the picture of the Quartzsite gathering. We had a great time and really enjoyed seeing our old friends and meeting all the new members that came to the gathering. We hope to see you all again down the road.

This has been a great experience for Cathy and myself. Thanks to all of you that have made our first boondocking experience such an easy time. We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the Spring Rally in Tucson.
BTW: The stories were great, Dave!!!!!

This was also our first boondocking experience. Thanks to the generosity of Doug and Sharon we were able to use a generator for the duration. We enjoyed meeting all of you we'd not previously met and with renewing friendships with those we had. What a great time. I'm always sad to see such a great time end. And in a couple of hours we'll head out into the rain and the 20 to 30 mph forecasted headwinds!
Thanks again to those who put so much time and hard work into putting this together. What a great group of people.

This has been our first Boodocking experience as well and it has been great. We were only going to try boondocking for a couple of days; today is our 7th day of boondocking and right now don’t have, a set date to for leaving.
It has been great to meet so many MOCers in real time.
Thank you all for making this a great week.

Yes, a great time. A special thank you to Doug for putting this together. I think he is the mayor of Montanaville.

That is a great pic. There are a lot more trailers there than when Sallie and I stopped by. What ever happened to the SOB that was parked right at the entrance to the oval? Did he run into town and buy a Montana and join in?

The Quartzsite rally once again proves how wonderful the MOC family can be for fun, friendship and giving a helping hand to each other.
One real great benefit was that there are 3 new boondocking converts! I think the 3 rigs that had never boondocked before will probably try it again..., it just wasn't as bad as they thought, and they learned they could live without and still have a wonderful time.
We are still at Q, and there are only 9 of us left here, pretty quiet, but still nice to be with good friends.
Phil, we've been here boondocking for 11 days...looking forward to that 30 minute shower!

Great Picture Sue! But Darn! We were hoping we would be in the picture! There's no Yellow Jeep or the Patio Heater at the fire ring. I guess we just left a day to early! It was a great gathering of the Montana's! We loved it! See you all soon at the Spring Rally in April!

Sue and Ed,
You were most welcome to borrow our generator and just hope that you enjoyed your first boondocking experience. So is there a generator purchase in your future plans?? That will certainly tell us if you enjoyed!!
