So, How come this is a gals' topic?

Guys like to cook too so this doesn't seem very PC to me

Believe it got switched here during some re-organization of the site, IIRC.

The Girls gone MOC is not just for us gals, but, was to encourage some of the gals to participate more. We have lots of fellas that comment in this area of the forum.

Nothing PC involved, as far as I can tell from other posts since this was organized under Girls Gone MOC.

See you posted about some oven, I had never heard of it, might have to have a lookie see round the net. Always looking to learn something. Thanks.

Well I surely cook...and my wife stole all my recipes (at least SHE thinks so)...LOL

In fact I enjoy cooking most while RV'ing...nothing better than a good meal you make when you're out and about. Both my wife and I are excellent cooks and usually can make something better at home and for less $$.

Bring water to boil.
Add 1 tbs instant hot chocolate to a cup (to taste)
Add boiled water
Stir vigorously to dissolve instant hot chocolate

Note: Try not to burn the water.

How's that?

This is a great way to get the gals involved, but I also have to say that I do 99% of the cooking. I'm still learning how to cook because I now have the time to learn and burn. My wife cooked for the first 25 years, now it is my turn.

Brad --- you KNOW you have to share photos of you cooking in a dress now! :-0

Michael --- Stick to the KISS (Keep it super simple) and work up from there. The nice thing about these units is that there are so many cooking style options, stove top, microwave/convection, and oven. Not to mention the options of crock pots, electric roasters, and grilling. There have been some pretty neat recipes shared in this topic area in the past few months...check them out!

At our stick house and Bella we share pretty much everything so there is no (s)he did more/less than the other in the cooking department...I cook he cleans, he cooks, he cleans! (No that is not a typo!) LOL

Actually, he usually does the meat (as grilling is our preference) and I do the side dishes. This makes getting everything to table simultaneously a bit easier/likely! When it comes to cooking for groups if it doesn't involve grilling I usually do the cooking as the kitchen is set up for me and my logic (or lack thereof, depending on your perspective) so its easier/less stressful for both of us.

DH does all the cooking at our house and also when we are in the "Casa". He does all planning, shopping, prep, cooking and clean-up. He is my gift from God!!!!
