Just where all those Montana's?

Unless they have moved since we left them near 6 this evening they can be found near mile marker 3 on Plamosa rd. You will see the MOC sign on the north side. turn in here and go straight back and you will see them on your left.

We have not moved since Charlie left us this evening. Look for us as Charlie described. We did have a perfect spot earlier in the day but found out that we were in a no camping area and had to move a little west to our current location. We will not be able to have a circle but we will now have a rectangle. Most all will be back in spaces. See you all when you get here.

Thanks for the info. I'll be looking for the sign when we drive over for a visit.

OK, we are re-organized. We will have a oval instead of a circle.

Here are the cordinates to find the group. Thank you Robbie.

Lat. N 33-46'-05"

Long. W 114-10'-17"

Sallie and I took a drive to Bouse and took Plomosa Road up over the scenic pass and stopped in for a quick visit on Saturday. What a friendly group, As we were leaving we discussed pulling the trailer over for a few days but when reality set in we decided to just keep it in Parker. We have been here since the first of Oct and a temporary move would be a lot of work. Doug, Mel, and Dennis (I think) we are looking forward to our return trip on visitors day.

We drove on in to Quartzsite and it was quite a zoo. It took us over 20 minutes to go from the first light to the light on the South side of the bridge. Finding a place to park was just a dream so we just drove to a friends place and visited for the afternoon. The big tent will have to wait for another day.

Sounds like a normal January day at Quartzite, Clutch. Lots of neat stuff in the big tent when you finally get there.

Judy and Glenn and of course, Greta!

We sure are missing you folks. Lot's of nice folks here and you know how we spend our days! Lots and lots of talking and sharing. Then there are the tents to visit in Q.

I'll bet that grandson of yours would enjoy coming to the desert. It would be a great educational experience.

Dennis and Mary Kay and the fury little boys!

Can't wait to meet everyone on Thursday. How far is it to Plumosa Rd from Quartzsite or Interstate 10. Don't remember seeing that anywhere. I know the MOC camp is appx 3 miles down Plumosa Rd. Thanks

kwolff7,

Plomosa Rd. is about 5 to 6 miles from Q and I-10. When you make your turn onto Plomosa Rd. it is about 2.7 miles to the turn to the MOC Circle.

Just follow the little dirt road straight out until you see the Montanas. It is only about a couple of hundred yards.

Sounds like y'all are out in the boonies this year, Dennis. We sure wish we could be there as we know how great the company would be. Daniel's favorite thing in the desert would be your two furry buddies! He is enjoying Greta, except when she steals toast off his breakfast plate! She can't figure out why he doesn't play with her every time she brings him her toys. But they love snuggling together. There's also a little fight for attention.....

We are thinking of you guys often, knowing that you're having a wonderful time and we wish we could be there. But then there's fifth grade math...... And then we have that report on a newspaper article. It's quite a lifestyle change for us but we're enjoying it.

Hello Quartzsite Circlers!!!!

We were to arrive on Thursday but now we can arrive tomorrow - Wednesday. Is there any problem with that?

Thanks and looking forward to seeing everyone.

David and Jo-Anna,

It is a big desert and there is plenty of room for more MOCers.
So far the weather has been great and company even better.

See you tomorrow
