No heat

Woke up to no heat, thermostat clicks but nothing happens at all with furnace. Moved it to AC and that kicked on... No propane smell on the outside as well. Reset still nothing

Is the stove working? That would rule out a propane issue.

And welcome to the MOC. Start with the basics as mentioned. See if the stove works. It could be as simple as out of propane.

If nothing is happening at all then I assume that the fan isn't even spinning up when the thermostat calls for furnace heat. That's likely not a propane issue. The place to start is electrical.

If you've done the easiest thing...check the furnace fuse, then more info would be very helpful. Year and model of the trailer would be great. Make of the furnace (Atwood or Suburban)? Is there exterior access to the furnace?

Sorry didn't mention that was the first thing I checked for this morning...My percolator made a great cup. Not a propane issue

I ran out to the hardware store picked up fuses, not the fuse. It's a 2002 Montana 3670RL Suburban # SW10 DE Thank you so much for everyone's response❤️

Stove top works changed furnace fuse. Still nothing..8 have the 2002 Montana 3670RL Suburban furnace

The trailer is old enough that it could be a few different things.

1. Faulty thermostat
2. Faulty relay in the AC unit that sends the signal to the furnace
3. Faulty furnace main control board

There should be 2 blue wires that come from the AC relay to the furnace. If you can locate and jump those 2 wires you would effectively bypass both the thermostat and the relay. If the furnace spins up then you can assume that the trouble is one of the first 2 issues. Otherwise I would bank on a bad control board. With exterior access it should be fairly easy to replace.

Hey, I have a 2002 3670RL too! Not many of us do anymore, though, so you might not get help specific to the year, make, and model of the furnace.

I can't help you because I turned on the furnace once when I first bought my rig used in 2015--but it smelled funny, and I didn't want to deal with propane anyway, so I haven't turned it on again. (I've always been in a place where electric space heaters are sufficient for winter heating--lots of below-freezing overnight temps, but 99% of the time, above-freezing daytime temps.)

This forum's been around for a long time, though, so I would say that if you can't figure out what's wrong based on the general propane furnace suggestions people give you, try looking through old posts to see if someone with a 2002 posted about furnace problems in the past.

I have a Mr buddy my daughter gave me 5 years ago for camping. I've never had to use it till today, I'm actually thinking about filling up a 20lb meanwhile I have a 100 gallon sitting outside. What I might possibly do is get a vent free propane heater and hook that up instead of investing into this old unit

That might be the easiest and cheapest thing to do, especially since you already have a Mr. Buddy. I've thought about getting one of those myself, since once in a blue moon where I am, a serious cold snap will come with a power outage too.

Education - the Part you referenced is for the Suburban water heater...

Your Furnace for your year is most likely SF30 or SF35 made by Suburban..

Since the blower motor is not spinning up when you set thermostat for heat you will need a multimeter and have some basic electrical skills to troubleshoot and fix

If you have in fact removed the 15 amp ATC fuse and either verified it was good or replaced with new one and still no blower motor then you will need some professional help... if you don't have the TS skill sets....

Wish I could help but I am also having issues with heat. Parts replaced thermostat, sail switch, high limit switch, converter. Issue now is the furnace gets so hot it shuts down. Shuts off completely. It should run till it reaches the temp then turn off and fan should run for a few; however, it shuts down completely.

This unit is old but for right now I have Mr Buddy and 5200 BTU fireplace heater (floor model) just ordered a rug to cover main area with the floor so cold right now plus cover floor vents. Heating blanket and ride this out! Too cold out there too go messing with anything and to have a tech come out I think they'll overcharge since they know I need it. I don't have a problem with putting on extra socks and double layer. This too shall pass����️❄️

Walmart where I live has stopped taking grocery items out of cardboard boxes before putting them on shelves, so I've been loading up on free cardboard lately when I go. Cardboard under rugs, over windows, and over skylights/vents makes great, free insulation. I've found that electrical tape (also cheap) can usually be used to hold stuff up without damaging anything when it's removed.
