Pendant lights burnt out

Have a 2015 305 rl Montana high country. One of the pendant lights burnt out above the island and I cannot get the bulb out. Looks like a standard 1156 but even with a lot of pressure applied I cannot get the bulb to push in or turn. Used work gloves in case the glass broke. Some people have told me it was one unit and the fixture would have to be replaced. I find it a bit hard to swallow that a bulb cannot be replaced.
Any insights would be appreciated.

I just looked up your unit and saw yes 2 individual pendant lights. I have 1 oval pendant with 3 lights inside of it. I’ll look to see what I can find for your unit.

Push up and turn the bulb counter clockwise as you are looking up at it from the floor. I stronly advise that you wear gloves as those bulbs in our 343RL are pretty tight. A quick squirt of silicone lube might help. Small hands help too as there is not a lot of room in that globe.

If for some reason the glass breaks out of the metal base, a pair of needle nose pliers will get the remnant out easily

When my unit was made, they used pendant fixtures that used the wedge based 921 bulb. Now that was a pain to replace, so I did surgery and converted to bayonet bases and led bulbs at the same time.

Ours too. Changed to bright white LED’s.
Those bayonet bulbs are extremely hard to get out sometimes. Broke one bathroom socket loose pulling old bulb out.
Should be able to see if it is bayonet are not.

Sounds like the bulb bases have galled. Mine were extremely hard to remove but, I stayed with it till I worked them loose. They are like the old fashioned auto bulbs and bases. You might try running a hair drier on the bulbs for a couple of minutes to cause the metal to contract and they might release.
