That's just it, I'm still using Grandpa's tools and even a few of Great Grandpa's. Glad they were passed down to me and I'll be passing them down myself.

I can still find new batteries for my 14 year old D70 Nikon from Nikon direct. I recently found a wine opener I really liked so I bought two fearing they would become unavailable. Control boards for electronic appliances are becoming harder to replace - have to send them out for a 2+ week repair completely killing the appliance while it is out for repair.

Home Depots Rigid brand has a lifetime warranty on several of their tools. I am on my 4th set of batteries and they replaced my charger also No charge for either . You have to go to a Rigid Service Center Not Home Depot Also you must register the tool when you buy it

You might have a drinking problem if you can justify an electric corkscrew. I have one too LOL

Yes They have replaces them twice and charger quit working and they replaced it also no charge (pun intended)

I bought the Rigid cordless driver and drill for that same reason. So far no need for exchange.
