New MOC Participant - 3735MK

Hello,
We are new participants on this Forum after observing since this summer. My wife Mary is retired from Delta Airlines and I am US Army (retired).
We purchased a new 2014 Montana 3735MK in July and are looking forward to meeting some other Montana owners. We have already traveled to the east coast (MO, IN, OH, PA, NJ, MD, WV, KY) and then to the west coast (CA, NV, AZ, NM, TX, OK). We spent Christmas in Colorado at the Air Force Academy FAMCAMP; really enjoying the warmth of this unit over our previous "Polar Package" travel trailer that wasn't so polar.
Anxious to learn from the experience of those on this Forum and look forward to meeting at Rallys and during travels. Hope I got our signature right!

Welcome to the Forum! May your new rig bring you many years of wonderful memories. We have an RV home base in Wilsey, Ks so we may meet up down the road at some point. Also, you may want to consider coming to the Mid-States Rally in Nebraska in July.

Welcome Bill, sounds like you have already covered about 1/4 of our great country in your rig. If you don't already know, this is about the best forum around for obtaining knowledge and friendly participants.

Welcome from a fellow 3735MK owner and we love it as well FYI..watch out for the pantry shelves they collapse pretty easy going down rough roads I had to reinforce mine with L brackets and here was my fix for that...http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/...pantry,shelves, other than that it has been a great 5er..ENJOY

From central Arkansas, we too, thank you for your service to our country and welcome you and Mary to the forum.

The national rally (very busy week) is a good rally to attend to meet great people and to learn about all the "stuff", Montana puts in the RVs.

The regional rallies (much smaller and laid-back) are fantastic for getting to know the MOC family. We met a lot of people at the national rally in Goshen in September 2014, but we really got acquainted with some of those folks at our first regional rally at Grand Lake, Colorado in September 2015.

Either way, it's a win-win deal. Lots of good information exchanged at both. Enjoy!

Thank you for your service. Welcome from northern Colorado. We have a fairly active MOC chapter in Colorado. A good way to meet members is to go to some of the rallies. Most start in the summer and go into the fall. Enjoy your new rig and safe travels.

Thanks for all the responses and welcome notes. Also, thanks for the link on the pantry shelve issue; we've had no problem so far, but now I understand the issue and will look at preventive action to avoid a future "learning" experience. We do plan to attend the Rally in Nebraska in July (reserved at campground and RSVP'd on rally forum page); we're awaiting information posting for the Indiana rally and we plan to attend. We will also look at the Colorado rallies mentioned above, since we do frequently spend time there visiting the grand-daughters. Looking forward to meeting everyone and learning some of what y'all already know. Thanks again for the welcome.
