We had to give up!

We found that we could not afford to live the flltime lifestyle so we sold our dually, then sold our house in PA and moved to The Villages in Florida.

I miss all you folks but I'm into a new lifestyle now so I won't be posting any more, as far as I can tell.

I wish you the best of luck, the best of times, and a happy future!

Sorry to hear you are giving it up. You’ll certainly be missed on the forum here if you leave. Feel free to hang around, others may still benefit from the knowledge that you’ve gained.

Best of luck to you both. It's interesting that you say you couldn't afford the full time lifestyle because that's the very reason we've been full time. We couldn't afford everything that went with owning a house, what with property taxes on the increase and maintenance continually. So far, in 12 years of full timing we have found that our expenses are less and we are living higher on the hog, so to speak, not to mention all the great friends we have made along the way. Even considering fuel prices, we continue to travel back and forth across the country and up and down between the borders.

Sorry to hear your leaving us, but hope you pop in now and then and keep us all on the straight and narrow. We spent 5 months in Florida last winter, and played I think it was 3 gigs in the Villages. Had fun all three times, and even had a Michigan to Florida reunion there in February. Good luck in your new adventure, and make sure you get your golf cart there so you can keep up--lol.

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Look forward to the horizon. Sometimes sunsets are beautiful, but morning brings the only day you have. So grab it with gusto.
