Hello Tim and welcome,

You might want to go to the last thread on this forum and take a look at what has been offered for sale. There have been some MOCers lately that need to sell their units for various reasons. Some include the truck in the deal. I bought a well attended but previously enjoyed unit and couldn't be happier.

I agree with what Stiles said. We bought a used unit and are THRILLED with it. It's 3 years old and everyone thinks it's brand new! Good luck!

Pete's rig (c5racer) is a really nice one when we saw it last year. And he's not that far from California.

Welcome aboard and good luck in your quest.

Timoteo,

I ran across this ad in RVSearch.com for a 2005 Montana 37' with three slides. Don't know exactly what the model is and he is also selling a 2004 F350 dulley. Unfurtunately, he is located in Florida. Here's the link: http://www.rvsearch.com/findrv/index...1645/tc-36325/

5rvers, that model is a 3670RL which is like ours. Mine is a 2004 and the sellers of the 2005 are asking $8,000 more that I paid for mine new. I think that c5racer's is a much better deal.

WOW...thanks for all the replys.........very good comments.I am leaning towards c5racer, but am wondering about the dodge truck. I am not sure about the dual axels as I know nothing about that system and is the truck capable of handling the 5er? Any thoughts?

It's a 1 ton dually with two wheel drive and will handle the RV just fine. The Jordan is a top of the line brake controller.

A Dodge dually with Cummins diesel is a hard rig to beat. I'd have no qualms whatsoever about towing any Montana made with that truck. It looks good, too. I had the pleasure of meeting Pete at one of our rallies. I don't know him real well but my impression is he takes good care of his equipment.

Send a message via MSN to Parrothead
We parked next to Pete at the Minden rally and saw first hand his unit and TV and the way he cared for both. I don't think you'd go wrong with this setup. Don't be afraid of the dually. We love ours and the way it handles our Monty. And you can drive them - I do - even to WalMart!
Happy trails.......................

Tim -
As you can see,we have a 03 3280RL and an 03 GMC 2500HD STD EC 8.1 Gas/Allison. Both units are in great shape.
Will be in North Phoenix about 11/05. Won't have PC btw 10/31 and 11/05. Any interest, call me at 480-789-9777
