Last Night
Well...It is our last night in the sticks and bricks house!!! Hard to believe that as of tomorrow we are full-time RVers. WAH-HOO
We are headed to KOA for a week here in town to get rig situated and have a few things adjusted. Then we are headed to the Humboldt area as long as we can get there. Right now 299W is closed from Junction City to Del Loma. We just have to pray that they get these fires under control and we have no more dry lightning strikes. Northern CA is real a hot box right now... Hope to see some of you on the road. Dave and Teresa

Congratulations. May you get out of the fire area safely and have an interesting journey. Why don't you try to make the 2008 MOC Fall Rally? What better place to meet and share with other full timers and have the factory so close?

Congrats to both of you. Although we have only been "on the road" for a year, we can honestly say that we love this lifestyle. This afternoon a large motorhome pulled in next to us and I went out to say hi! Come to find out, these folks are from Belgium and I had visited their town and country in the 80's. They are here for three to six months. They bought a second hand motorhome, a Country Coach, 2005, and will have to sell it before they leave as it is entirely too big to drive in Europe. My point is that you will meet people from all over the world and see places you have never seen before. BTW Wyoming is beautiful this time of year. Hope to see you on the road some day.

Can hear the excitement in your post. Travel safe. You are entering a new adventure in your life. I'm sure you will have lots of stories to share with us here on the forum. If you ever get to WV (eastern panhandle) in the summer or Orlando, FL area in the winter...give us a call. Would love to get together. Hope to meet you at one of the MOC Rallies.

Congratulations on your getting out of the stick house. it is a grand lifestyle and you can look forward to some great times, (odds are there will be a couple of not so great but hopefully those are few and far between). We finally got out on the road in March and did the same, found a place to sit and get the Monty arranged and had a 'pratice' period while we finished up on some legal and medical issues then we hit the road. Havn't regretted a minute of it. Enjoy!
