Florida RV park on the beach

We are planning on spending February, March 2019 in Florida. My wife wants to stay in a park with ocean or gulf view. This will be our first snowbird adventure and any help will be appreciated. We need a site that will handle a 39' Montana.

There are very few parks with that feature. Will be high dollar sites to see ocean from RV, also recommend making reservations soon as those sites are taken first.

Fiesta Key has openings for 2019. For giggles I did a price check today ~~ $3130 monthly.

One of my friends stays at Camp Gulf in Destin FL. They always reserve one of the sites directly on the beach and love it. They have reservations in Feb 2019.

We reserved a spot at Emeraled Beach in Navarre FL 6 months ago for Easter week and they had one spot left.

Only two I know of directly on the beach in my area is Red Coconuts in Ft Myers Beach and Turtle Beach near Sarasota. TB does not allow dogs because of the turtles. Chances are RC is already booked for next season. There are some waterfront lagoon sites at the very nice Fort DeSoto county park near St Pete, but good luck getting in there.

Most decent CG's within 20 miles of the beaches and south of Sarasota/Orlando will only take a 3 month reservation in high season, not a 2 month stay. Our CG was full this year with 4, 5, and 6 month reservations.

You may be able to book in the panhandle, or in the middle of the state, or even closer to Jacksonville for 2 months. However make sure to bring plenty of warmer clothing.

Many CGs in south Florida are old and you can expect to feel like a sardine. We visited 14 before finding one acceptable. Best to consider AZ or TX. Less expensive there too. Best deals are in Mexico for now near a beach. Find a nice Florida CG inland a little and you can find reasonable rates.
