Air Bags

What pressure do you guys use for your air bags. I have been running mine at 60PSI but this last trip I pumped them up to 80PSI and that seemed to smooth out the ride a little more.

80 sounds high, I run mine at 50, 35 was too low 45 ok so 50 gives a cushion.

Interested in knowing what some of you folks paid to get air bags installed. Or if you are do it yourselfers, how difficult is it?

Thanks jerryb and DHenry. Sounds like I could do it myself, but for $80 bucks, I would let someone else crawl around under the truck.

Were running 50 lbs in ours. We also have overload springs on our F350 so it was hard to tell any change. I expermented with ours and notice that with 50 lbs the trailer was level. And after driving a little distance, it handled a lot better. When the RV was off the truck, the pressure went down to 40 lbs. When we have nothing behind, we leave it at 10 lbs. 80 lbs was too high. It set the RV up in the air.

i run ours @ 50 pounds "static" before I hitch up. Once hitched, the pressure rises to 75 pounds +/- 2 pounds. Really smooths out the ride on the unit. Took me about 40 minutes to install ours---piece of cake.
