Saving Topics ?
A quick search turned up zip on this. Is there a way to save favorite topic's and store in your profile? If not, how do some of you do this other than cut and paste to a Word Doc.? Thanks Steve

I don't do it but it looks like you could subscribe to the topic, look at the top right of the page. Don't know where it stores the info. You could also print to a file. That would save it to your HD, not your profile.

Great question! I gave up trying to come back and find topics with particular content. Now I cut/paste anything I want to save and store it away in a Word doc on my laptop. I am hoping someone has a more elegant solution.

I have an Info folder in My Documents and in that Info Folder I have a myriad of additional folders. One is RV. Inside that I have topic folders in which I store info from this forum and other sources. I just use File/Save As and save the page as an html file. Then a doubleclick opens it in my browser and looks identical to how it looks right here. Even the links work. Quick and easy.

As Steve indicated. With Firefox I decide if I want to save it as HTML or PDF.

Why is it that you can subscribe to some topics but not others?

NCFischers,
Each and every topic must be set individually. Some topics simply got missed and thus can not be subscribed. If you want something added to the subscribe function please notify the Admins and they will add it as time permits.
Thank you,
RVWheels, MOC Admin.

Thanks.

Steves' way is the best because you hold it on your computer. One other option is to save the "HTTP" code at the top as a favorate in your web browser or save the code in a work doc and call it up from that.
The down side is if the server crashes or it is accidently deleted.
Hope this helps.
