Someone finally waved back

I was south bound on HWY 99 near Modesto, CA, Sunday at about 2:00pm, flashed three times, and for the first time I got somebody to waved back. Who were you?

Yes,that was me. We were heading back to Silverdale Wa when we saw you. We were at Parker, and were scheduled to arrive at the Q gathering on the 18th, but my wifes brother passed away and we had to return home. When all things are settled, we will return to AZ.in a few weeks.
