Tom-Glad I have my feet up on the desk while I'm LOL!
Nancy- If it's you that's replying-- Tom must have married someone a lot younger!
If you own a 2980 you're always young- at heart anyway! LOL

You guys are so funny! Good input. Thanks.
I think I'll wait to join anything just yet.
Won't be doing anything or buying anything right now
to enjoy the discounts anyway!
I wonder where they do get their lists from?

Lisa,
Stop trying to be young again and just bite the bullet and join AARP. You'll find it is painless except for the small annual dues. You don't have to wear a placard around your neck indicating you are over 50!
Editied:
Dano,
When you introduce Lisa, it goes like this:
"Hello. This is my wife Lisa. She's a member of AARP."
If you don't join it is:
"Hello. This is my wife Lisa. She gets solicited to join AARP all the time."

In Florida, Tallahassee sells lists to various groups such as AARP but am not sure of their process, selection and privacy concerns. I think such lists may come from vehicle registrations, boats, RV, etc. but again just not sure. It's probably done in other states for revenue as well.

Wayne - you're too funny! Thanks alot for Dano's advise! LOL
Age has never really bothered me much. I like being "older". My sister on the other hand won't admit to anything! On one of her previous birthdays, I sent her a t-shirt that said It took me 40 years to look this good! She never wore it!

If she still has it when she's 50 or 60, she'll wear it then?
