alarm constantly beeping

Howdy
Got a minor problem with the alarm constantly beeping. I've never really had any long lasting service out of my batteries since the unit was new. Took it on weekend trips till last year-- we drove to florida and stayed for the winter--no problem. When we got home the alarm started staying on only after unpluging for a day. Like one of the other owners found that the ground had come lose--fixed that.I have the dealer installed double batteries option(the batteries are taller than the plastic container.
It never quit but went to intermittant beeping--found that the gallery tank handle had vibrated lose--emptied the tank and rescrewed the handle( with some profanity) I have kept it plugged in to 110 even after rewiring and grounding the batteries. If I unplug I can only run the slides in and out twice and the batteries sound the alarm. If I take the batteries out and charge them they will take a good charge. When I have the batteries out and am plugged in I do have some current to the battery cables.
I now still have a faint intermittant beep. No it's not going back to the dealer!!! Just need a few hints. 2002 2955RL and 2002 Ford F250 7.3
