Bilstein Shocks

For those of you that have, or had, the Bilsteins, how about an honest appraisal? I am specifically looking for ride info on a big truck.

I know it is sometimes hard to write a not so great review on something you have spent money on and I understand that. If you prefer to send me a PM or E-mail please do so...

Thanks in advance

I put Bilstein shocks on a mid size Freightliner I had could't have been more pleased. If going on a pick up then I'm not real sure, how ever I can't imagine they would not do a good job there also. Friend of mine has several 3/4 and 1 ton pick ups he uses real hard, he seems to favor the Rancho shocks, I believe thats correct name.

Put them on, noticed CONSIDERABLE different in the ride solo and towing IMMEDIATELY.

LOVE THEM, is an understatement.

OH, our OEM's were totally shot/worn out in less than 20,000 miles. (At least that is the number I remember.)

I had Bilsteins on my previous 2 diesel trucks and when I bought my current F-350 last year, I put Bilsteins on it after I had the truck 3 days. Beats the stock ride by a ton!

I was debating between the Ranchos and the Bilsteins. After much research I went with the Bilsteins. The shock that were on the truck were the orignals. I noticed a great difference in the ride with the new shocks, much smoother. Granted, still driving a truck, but it did smooth the ride.

I do a lot off road driving and I must say Bilsteins make a big difference in ride quality
in on and off road conditions.

I to put a set of the Bilsteins on my Dodge. I have not pulled the Monty with them yet but I can tell you that the ride without it is alot different than it was before. They are more money than some of the others but I would buy them again over my other choices. I think I got mine online for about 70.00 a piece. Al
