Moved!
Still unpacking our stuff, but this weekend we planned to put in a 50 amp service and move our Montana from the RV park to our new home:
If you look closely at the last picture, you'll see we didn't have to remove our generator carrier from the rear; I put it between the garage pillars. Now, if we need to evacuate, we can do so at a moment's notice.

I sure hope y'all don't have to evacuate for many years. It is tough when you leave and your dram home is gone.

We bought our home in Miramar, Florida. It's between Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

Just enough driveway, I'd say.

Michael, did you wire your home to accept the power from your generator? That's the first item I did to keep the house Refrig, lights, and, most importantly, the Sat TV going during those fierce Noreasters. You don't get them, but a different type of severe weather to knock out the power.

That's a good idea kab449. Florida may not get noreasters, but they do get, ummmm, watchacallems.... hurricanes.
I especially like that you made the Sat TV the highest priority... yup, gotta keep getting them TV alerts, but missing a good game can be worse.
