Texas and DWR's

I have been looking for a Dually and it seems like 90% of the used ones are in Texas. I wonder what the sales reports from the big 3 show?

There are a LOT of duallys on the road around here. Have no idea on sales figures. But it seems from casual observation that, as far as duallys go, Ram slightly leads Ford, followed some distance back by GM.
For all trucks, it seems Ford leads GM quite a bit, and GM leads Ram.

Here are the latest national sales numbers. However, it does not break it down by 150/1500 vs 250/2500 vs 350/3500 or by SRW vs DRW.

My business partner bought his Ram used from Texas. Saved thousands too.

Around here they tend to be driven until when you trade them the dealer sends them to the auction. Not enough left to sell on the lot. Plenty of new ones there, however.

Same here, you will have to look long and hard for a lower mileage dually in Texas.... I have lucked out and have found 2 different duallies with lower miles... My last one only had 70k miles and this one had 43k miles.... What usually happens is people get duallies to haul horse trailers and once they get miles on them they get demoted to hauling hay and then to ranch trucks and by then they are used up...

Lots of Dually's in Northern California and Oregon. Big horse country. Can sell a Dually on craigslist within a week here! At the Safeway I counted 12 last Sat. Per capita we have a very high number!
