New Tires

Has anyone purchased Michelen tires for their RV. Are there comparable
RV tires like the Goodyear G614 made by Michelen. Replacing my china bombs.
Thanks

You don't say what year and model trailer you have. If your trailer is light enough to us LT tires than many have used Michelen with good success. If you have a heavier trailer, some are currently going with Saliun instead of 614's.

We have a shorter lighter trailer (2007 3075RL) so I am good for the weight. I put Michelin XPS Ribs on it 7 yrs ago. After that much time and 20,000 miles the tires still look practically new. Never even a low tire. I add 2-3 lbs of air in the spring and good for the season. Will probably replace them next year due to age even though they are hardly worn.

I have one of the lightest 2013 285rld. Just replace the chine bombs with Michelin. Marabombs always kept me on edge, when they would burst.
Changed them out just in time, as one was about to blow.

Michelin does make a tire that is equal to the GY G614 and are G rated, but I think (not 100% sure) they are even more than the 614s, thus you don't hear much about them.

If you are light enough to run a LT tire, I would suggest you also consider a Bridgestone Duravis R250. I have had them on for 2 years, show no wear in about 14K miles.

Ditto on the Duravis, excellent tires. They were recommended by Lonnie the tire guru.
