Remote control

The remote control quit working on my 2010. The light still comes on when you push the button, but when you attempt to use it there is no" flickering light" and nothing works. Is this a system of low battery or a dead remote. Thanks in advance.
Don

I'd try a battery ... 23A ... Wally World next to the photo processing departments. These batteries don't seem to last more than a year if that. The other option if the battery doesn't do it ... There is a procedure to resinc the remote with your receiver in your front compartment under the bedroom ... it should be in your owners paperwork from the dealer. There are 2 screws in the remote ... one on the bottom ... another in the center of the back undder the decal. Both philips head screws.

I agree...try a new battery. The TV cradle remote acted very similar to that and it was the battery.

We got tired of killing the batteries so fast so . . we run the legs, stabilizers, etc via the outside switch, then when it gets "close" and you want to tweak it in, use the remote while you are there eye-balling it.
Works for us.

If you look in the front smaller compartment door (where the battery is located) theres a black control box mounted on the back of the compartment. it will give you instruction on it about resetting the remote. You normally push a rubber button on control panel and wait for it to come on, then push any button on remote.

These things have remote controls? Amazing!

I wonder if I'll get one with my 2005 when I get it on Saturday?

2005 model did not have remote, sorry. Sounds like you have some major modifications ahead if you desire such a luxury.

Nah, I can live without it Bingo. I'm just amazed at all the doo-dads that are going into them these days. Just more to go wrong though, I guess.
