Reverse Battery?

Earlier this week when it was really mild, I went to the rig in the storage lot. I was looking at the breaker panel in the toilet room while the generator was exercising. What are the fuses that are labeled "Reverse Battery ..." for? There are 4 - 25a fuses there and I don't know what they are. What's the reverse battery function? Any info out there?

Thanks.
Walt

Walt,
I've never heard of that term. Don't know what it could be. I wonder if it is just bad spelling and they meant to say "reserve"? Let us know if you find out what it is. Thanks, Dennis

I think it is just what it says. If you accidentally hook up the battery reverse polarity, the fuse would blow hopefully protecting everything else.

on my panel the two 30 amp fuses on the left are in case the battery is connected in wrong and the polarity is reversed, they were blown and the battery wasn't charging and the converter was not putting out 12 volts. Replace fuses and all is well now.
