Air bed leak
We have a small leak in the velour top of our air bed. Does anyone know what we can seal it with? It's not on a seam and I'm not sure what will adhere to the velour.

Jim&Vickie- I also had a leak in the air mattress after being used 2 or 3 times.I Soaped the entire thing except for the velor side, but I never did find the leak.I had a feeling that the boston valve was leaking but never did confirm that.I contacted the dealer(Blaine Jensen RV, Utah). They told me no problem and ordered me a new one from supplier.Seeing you have a 09 monty, you might still be under warranty. Considering that the air mattress are not used very much I would think any Keystone dealer should be willing to help you out. I feel it can never hurt to ask.
Good luck, Keith

We had the same problem with an air mattress in SOB...returned for replacement, but replaced it with a regular mattress soon thereafter since we had no desire to wake up some night on a flat mattress.

Jim,
One of the members said he used hot glue and it worked well, I scraped the area around our leak till the valour was gone and then used a vinyl repair patch.

Hot glue gun. We had a leak in the top of ours also. Was actually a 1/4" or so slit. Tried patches. Didn't work. A little hot glue on it, spread it around to overlap the edges well, cools quickly, and no leak. Glued it summer before last. No leak last summer.

I had the same problem with mine and I tried patches, gorilla glue, etc. it still leaked.I called Flair industries ( www.flairindustries.com) and they were very helpful. For approx.$85.00
they sent me a new one. They make you watch a short video online and sign off on it.The installation procedures have changed and they request you dont leave it in the unit in the winter due to high and low temp. changes. They dont retail these so they wont take a credit card.Check or c.o.d.They said the price was there cost and it was a courtesy replacement. They were great to deal with! Good luck.

I just found out that I have the same problem with the air mattress. It's leaking Can't find any holes, checked the discharge valve with soap & water. Nothing! I'm going to try blowing it up as hard as I can get it and tape a plastic baggie over the moter assembly and see if that valve is leaking back. The plastic baggie should blow up if the motor valve isn't holding. I'll get back with my findings.

Update--- Hot glue worked great. It's been blown up all day and no leak. Thanks to those who suggested it.

I forgot to mention, Vickie used the hot glue on the leak then put a small iron on patch on it but didn't use an iron. She used the hot glue around the edges of the patch.
