Ours were on the step, never use them, think they are still there, just ignore them.
Suppose you got a good reason to want to ditch them, so my answer is no help at all.

We removed ours on our 3400RL. They were just screwed in, very easy to remove. Used them in the basement to secure items in that area. To secure recliners now during travel we place the chairs back-to-back with a pillow from the couch between them and use the tie-down straps to tie the backs of the recliners together. So far we do not find that they move during travel...and we have been down some very bouncy roads.

We do the same as Fire5ver. After putting laminate down didn't want these sticking up.

No such thing as a silly question garyka!
Fire5er, thanks for the idea. Those floor brackets are always in the way when we move the chairs and not very effective. Think we'll do your idea and use the brackets to hold down our dish receiver in the cabinet.
Anybody find better straps? Almost all of mine are broke now (plastic ends). They ain't as good as our 2003 had.

Can I ask what you did with the table that is normally in between the chairs?

Our end table and coffee table get tied down to the couch. However we do not have the newer airbed. They may have changed the storage location after they started installing the airbed.
